About Clare

Clare Carr is a global education facilitator specialising in trade justice and fair trade.

She is based in Leicester, and a member of the East Midlands Network for Global Perspectives in Schools.

Having trained as a Chartered Accountant, she practised as a Corporate Tax Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving into education and training. Her business background provides an added dimension to her fair trade work in schools. Clare has been running fair trade learning activities for students aged 7 to 18 since 2004. She is the East Midlands Co-ordinator for the Fairtrade Schools Scheme.

Clare is a SAPERE trained Philosophy for Children facilitator. She also reportedly has a wicked sense of humour.
